Thomas Dupas is a postdoctoral fellow in the Lab of Dr. Serge McGraw at the Azrieli Research Center of the CHU Sainte-Justine (CRACHUSJ) and University of Montreal (Montreal, Canada). His work focuses on how epigenetic instabilities, caused by alterations in DNA methylation during embryogenesis and brain development, lead to harmful developmental outcomes. He has an excellent track record with 13 peer-reviewed publications, and he is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and Takeda Canada. Before joining the CRACHUSJ, Thomas earned his PhD at the l’institut du Thorax in Nantes, France, where he studied the potential of O-GlcNAcylation stimulation in the early management of hemorrhagic and septic shock. His PhD was supported by the Direction Générale de l’Armement and the Pays de la Loire region.
