Get To Know Christoph Henle: A three-time First Team Academic All-Big 12 selection, Christoph volunteered to become a chapter leader in 2021. He attended the virtual Leadership Development Conference in early 2021 to prepare for the upcoming year, and played a key and instrumental role helping the Baylor Chapter hold a Lift For Life this past summer to inspire and support the Rare Disease Community. Originally from Innsbruck, Austria, Christoph has appeared in 36 games for the Bears, and has recorded 13 catches for 95 yards during his career.
What is your most memorable experience as a college football player?
HENLE: Winning the Texas Bowl!
What drove you to get involved with Uplifting Athletes?
HENLE: As a student-athlete we have such a big spotlight on us, and my goal is to use that spotlight to help families in the rare disease communities.
What have you learned from your experience with Uplifting Athletes?
HENLE: It is so important that we help those in need and make sure that the world knows how many families are impacted by rare diseases.
Who is your favorite NFL player and why?
HENLE: I love Rob Gronkowski because he’s one of the best tight ends to ever play.
If you could play another sport, what would it be and why?
HENLE: I would play golf, it would be awesome to get paid to play rather than me paying to play.
Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know?
HENLE: I grew up speaking 3 languages - German, English and Italian.
