Inaugural Blog

Hey! Since our Blog went live about three hours ago, I wanted to make my initial post before calling it a night. It's been a busy day preparing for the College Colors Day campaign to kickoff on July 6 (and getting my tires changed over lunch so I can drive to Boston this week). Everything is coming together nicely though. The big news for the day is that Boston College set the date for their Lift For Life event: July 30.

On Sunday, I met with Brett Brackett and Patrick Mauti - two of the officers for the Penn State chapter. Their Lift For Life event on July 10 is going to set a high standard for years to come. They have done such a great job...and it was reaffirming to me when Brett told me what a great experience it's been for him. He said that he checks his "Playbook" before calling me with a question...and it usually has the answer. It's pretty cool when you work with these guys for a while and you see the point when they figure it out. Last but not least...the RSVPs are pouring in for the VIP reception at the PSU Lift For Life. I'm excited to so many of our loyal supporters.

Stay tuned and I'll provide updates from my adventures as often as possible...even if it's just a greeting from a different college campus or an update on our progress. We're going to try to get some other people to join us on here, too. Feel free to post questions/comments to any post and someone will respond.
