Making a Difference
Uplifting AthletesSM is a group of Colgate football players working together to raise awareness and funds for rare diseases. These rare diseases affect fewer than 200,000 Americans and consequently little attention is paid to them. As college football student-athletes we believe we are in a position to make a difference.
This year, Colgate Uplifting Athletes will be supporting Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

- Inaugural Rare Disease Champion Recognized

Waco, TX - Uplifting Athletes, Inc. recognized the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) as the inaugural “Rare Disease Champion.” This honor will be presented annually as part of “Global Rare Disease Day” to recognize a leader in sports who has realized their potential to make a positive and lasting impact on the rare disease community. ...more
